Did you know that those candies aren't vegan/vegetarian? I only say this as years ago when I met my boyf he didnt know about the whole gelatine thing (he was vegetarian, he's vegan now) and I had to tell him about it. Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news! :( but there are companies who make these kind of jelly candy using a seaweed based gelatine (it tastes exactly the same) it's called agar agar, you can find them in organic stores and asian grocers
ANSWER:
I actually do know that. It´s really nice of you to tell me this though :) My friend told me that when she ate candy at my place, she though it was that stuff in them, but it wasn´t :) To be honest I didn´t think about it when I bought it but I´m not a hard core vegetarian, because I eat cheese, cheese isn´t vegetarian either. And ice cream and yogurt etc. I don´t know if the yogurt or ice cream i eat are vegetarian to be honest. They even put that stuff in medication and vitamin pills so :/ I might stop with the candy thing (even though I rarely eat it) and find vegetarian cheese too (and will check on all the other things too) even though I´m a BIG cheese fan and love strong cheese :) But this suck, doesn´t this mean that I "can´t" eat those snowballs, the pink ones with cocos and white and brown stuff in the middle? I´ve never tasted them and I REALLY want to :(
And I didn´t know about the cheese, yogurt, vitamin etc, thing until very recently! So Istill have my fermented milk and my regular cheese.
SVENSKA:
Bara lite snabbt. All yogurt, fil, ost, medicin och vitaminer, tårta och bakelser är inte heller vegetariska. Men jag har läst att ALLA valio ostar är vegetariska :)

Don't let that discourage you though, you can get vegan/vegetarian versions of every single kind of food and product, so you won't need to miss out on anything! Even snowballs, strong cheese, vitamins, medications etc. And don't worry it takes time to learn about every ingredient and where to find things, but once you get the hang of it all it's really very easy and not as hard as some people think :)
SvaraRaderaI could tell you all the products in Australia but that wouldnt be much use to ya haha , there would be some different brands available in Sweden.
Here's an example though of some of the type of vegan candy stuff you can get:

Hope this is helpful, Love your blog xox
SvaraRaderaI've been vegetarian nearly my whole life :)I don't eat fish or any type of meat at all. I also don't take medicines with animal products in, where I live, the labels say if they are vegetarian :)
SvaraRaderaCheese and milk are definately vegetarian!
But SOME cheeses have animal rennet in them, so you have to check! Brands like Cathedral City Cheddar are really strong, really nice, and vegetarian :) it might be worth importing some!
And if you would like the snowballs (chocolate with marshmallow) a brand called Tunnocks makes vegetarian ones, just made with egg, not gelatine ^^ they say "vegetarian" on them too. I don't know if you can get them outside of the UK, but here is a link :)

I also don't know if you have health food shops there, but over here in the UK, we have a lot, and they sell vegetarian jelly, gummi sweets, and lots of other things :)
